Project Manager for Power Electronics in Space Applications (m/f/d)

Tasks:

With your expertise in space projects, your innovative ideas, and your drive, you ensure that our new high-quality products meet the demands of our customers. As a project manager, you are responsible for all technical, commercial, and programmatic aspects of your project. Your tasks and responsibilities include in particular:

Your tasks will include the following in particular:

• Leading customer projects as well as internal development projects for the development, qualification, and/or production of power electronics for space applications based on PMI/PMBOK project management methods
• Project responsibility for the entire project in terms of time, scope, cost, and quality
• Implementation of the required Q-gate including appropriate documentation to ensure proper project tracking
• Coordination and monitoring of subcontractor work packages and project orders through the procurement department.
• Coordination of the resources needed for the project
• Project documentation, management reporting, lessons learned
• Change and complaint management
• Providing feedback to management and sales, supporting business acquisition efforts

What you need:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
• Comprehensive knowledge of project management methods and several years of experience in leading projects in the aerospace industry
• Customer-oriented / communicative / team-oriented / deadline-oriented / skilled in work organization & process-oriented / problem-solving-oriented / innovative / responsible & decisive
• English language: Negotiation level; German language: reasonably fluent
