What You’ll Do

Business Planning

  • Analyse market trends and financial data to provide strategic recommendations for business growth.

  • Develop financial forecasts based on past trends to support the business development.

  • Evaluate financial performance against the forecasts. 

  • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis, highlighting areas of concern or opportunity.

Financial Analyses & Reporting

  • Generate detailed financial reports, including cost analysis, payment tracking, and invoicing for clients, to ensure accurate financial oversight.

  • Prepare comprehensive reports on expenses, revenue, and cash flow, to support strategic decision-making.

  • Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, providing insights and commentary for all relevant stakeholders (shareholders, investors, external entities contracting Ecosmic, company employees, etc.)

  • Develop comprehensive presentations that highlight financial performance, projections, and key metrics to respond to stakeholders with accurate, data-driven insights.

Who You Are

  • You are proficient in English.

  • You have a MSc in Finance, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

  • You have strong analytical skills and you are data-driven.

  • You are capable of using meaningful metrics and present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.

  • You have a very good knowledge of Excel.

  • You are proactive and capable of finding solutions on your own. You are able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • You have deep interpersonal skills to build on relationships that are characterised by a high degree of transparency and trust.

Preferably:

  • You have knowledge about/strong interest for the space industry.

The total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills. As you increase your impact in Ecosmic, compensation can grow rapidly. On top of the salary, we also include €1,000/year (net) of welfare.
