Sales
Initiate conversations, build and maintain relationships with potential customers through emails, LinkedIn and international in-person events. Target to engage with new prospects on a weekly basis.
Dive deep into accounts to identify key decision-makers and champions. Craft personalized messaging that resonates with the target audience and qualifies their interest. Invest time in meeting people and nurturing your network.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of Ecosmic and its value proposition. Provide industry insights and position our solutions effectively.
Support in negotiating and closing deals.
Business Development
Adopt a consultative approach, listening to customer needs and adjusting strategies accordingly. Understanding where the real problems are is at the root of what we do..
Work on the marketing approach to iterate on messaging used in outbound communications. Work with internal teams to devise strategies for driving pipeline growth.
Optimise our growth strategies: newsletters, LinkedIn, etc. Help us get our name out there.
Organise events and marketing content to drive growth and get people passionate about the problems that we are solving.
Support in bid management for international grants, calls and prizes.
You are proficient in English. Fluency in spoken and written English is a must.
You have a MSc in Engineering and sales experience AND/OR you have a background in Business and experience in speaking about tech with people.
You have strong communication skills and you are flexible in adapting to real-time feedback during discussions.
You have deep interpersonal skills to build on relationships that are characterised by a high degree of transparency and trust.
You are data-driven: you are capable of using meaningful metrics to improve.
You are proactive and highly motivated. You work well in critical, fast-paced situations (e.g. crowded events, deal negotiations).
You are high energy, conferences and in-person event energise you.
Preferably:
You have 2 - 3 years of work experience in either space software or business development and sales.
You have international study/work experience and an international mindset.
You speak multiple languages.

Competitive pay: the estimated salary range for this position is €32,000 - €35,000/year + On Target Earnings. Discover more about the cost of living in Turin and about Italian taxation. The total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills. As you increase your impact in Ecosmic, compensation can grow rapidly. On top of the salary, we also include €1,000/year (net) of welfare.
