Senior Front-end Developer

Position Overview: 
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in frontend development, with a focus on designing and implementing scalable, high-performance user graphical interfaces. You will play a crucial role in developing the user experience and the look and feel of our applications, ensuring ease of use, performance, and security. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. 

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. 

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. 

• Ensure the security and integrity of applications. 

• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise. 

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth. 

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development. 

• Node JS and package management 

• Proficiency in backend frameworks such as React, Vue, Svelte, Angular. 

• Knowledgeable in css frameworks, such as Tailwind, or any of Postcss scss or Sass 

• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns. 

• Strong familiarity with RESTful APIs architecture (Openapi, swagger etc) 

• Excellent problem-solving skills  

• Attention to detail. 

• Ability to convey ideas through mockups, plus converting mockups to actual web components 

• Strong communication and teamwork skills. 

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with geospatial data and Earth observation technologies. 

• Knowledge of Authentication workflows and securing applications (OpenID, OAuth2, etc) from the perspective of login/logout/forgot password and implementing it in the frontend layer 

• Experience with version control systems (Git).
