Production Engineer

Full time Engineering Information Technology

Role

As a production engineer you are responsible for the assembly and testing of satellite components. You assemble the mechanical, optical and electronic parts into a final product. During and after assembly you perform various tests on the product to guarantee quality, and report these tests in a report.

You are also responsible for monitoring the supply chain, ordering necessary components and monitoring the quality of suppliers. You work together with a young and experienced team.

Responsibilities

  • Assembly of components for space systems
  • Checking incoming parts
  • Support mechanical designers with CAD changes
  • Perform tests (thermal, shock, electronic). Both in-house and at testing facilities.
  • Monitoring inventory and supply chain.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master Electromechanics or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent through experience)
  • Work and report carefully
  • Be able to perform electrical measurements
  • Experience with a CAD program
  • Good planning qualities

Optional

  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with simple soldering tasks
  • Interest in space research
