As a production engineer you are responsible for the assembly and testing of satellite components. You assemble the mechanical, optical and electronic parts into a final product. During and after assembly you perform various tests on the product to guarantee quality, and report these tests in a report.
You are also responsible for monitoring the supply chain, ordering necessary components and monitoring the quality of suppliers. You work together with a young and experienced team.

Arcsec delivers its components to companies and universities around the world and is involved in several research projects with the European Space Agency. Arcsec was founded in 2020 as a spinoff company of the University of Leuven. We develop high accuracy attitude determination and control systems for small satellites. At arcsec we have a strong focus on quality. Products are tested to high standards regarding vibrations, shock, radiation and thermal aspects. All flight models are assembled and tested within our cleanroom facility. We support our customers to integrate our products in their spacecraft. Arcsec partners with ESA to develop the next generation attitude control systems. Arcsec received support from the European Innovation Council to develop space debris detection capabilities for their star trackers, under the DeDUST project, short for Debris Detection Using Star Trackers.
