The ideal candidate should have strong writing abilities, experience in science communication, and a good understanding of social media platforms.
Research and write engaging, accurate, storytelling, and informative content about Earth Observation topics.
Create social media content, including posts, tweets, and other material, that effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to a general audience.
Collaborate with designers, remote sensing specialists, and other team members to produce high-quality content across various media.
Keep up to date with the latest developments in space science and social media trends to ensure the content is timely, relevant, and engaging.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as science, communications, or journalism.
In-depth knowledge or proven experience in communication activities related to space, with a focus on Earth Observation.
Fully fluent in English (oral and written).
Working knowledge of a second language, with preference given to Spanish.
Strong writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Proven experience in social media management.
Understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.
Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as part of a highly decentralized team.

Based in the heart of Brussels, Belgium, ALSO Space, was created in June 2022 by Annamaria Luongo and Stéphane Ourevitch. Three of our staff members are based in Central America.
