Who we are
Sateliot is a Barcelona-based Startup in the New Space sector, becoming the first satellite telecommunications operator that will provide global and continuous connectivity to all the elements that will make up the massive Internet of Things (IoT) universe under the 5G protocol.
In order to do so, Sateliot is launching a constellation of last generation nanosatellites, located at low altitude that act as mobile towers. Sateliot is the perfect complement for large telecommunications companies by providing them with the necessary infrastructure where terrestrial technologies do not arrive.
Your mission
In your role as an NB-IoT Test Engineer, you will be immersed in a collaborative and adaptive environment, where your efforts will have a substantial impact across all elements of the Sateliot solution - from terminals to constellation and service management software, encompassing critical components such as satellite payload, eNodeB and core network softwares, and ground segment components. Your contributions will be crucial throughout various phases of the Sateliot solution evolution, from conceptualization and lab testing to in-orbit testing and the operational phase of the service.
Your main functions
- Develop and define comprehensive test procedures for NB-IoT network elements, ensuring to simplify complex tasks for a universal understanding and fluid execution.
- Set up the necessary test environments and configurations to execute test procedures effectively. Write on-ground test procedures. Design and develop test scripts.
- Execute test procedures meticulously, ensuring all aspects of the NB-IoT network are thoroughly evaluated.
- Record and report test results, including identifying issues and deviations from expected outcomes.
- Debug and troubleshoot interface problems, working diligently to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Interface and collaborate actively with NB-IoT engineers and architects to relay testing insights, provide feedback, and assist in improving network components, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and cohesive teamwork.
- Collaborate with third-party providers when necessary to enhance the testing process.
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test procedures, configurations, and results.
- Support technical discussions with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Mobile Operators to facilitate Home Routed Roaming (HRR) connections and perform testing related to roaming interfaces within Sateliot roaming technical team.
