We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Engineer to join our team, focusing on projects in the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) sector, who will work for Telespazio Belgium in the Netherlands.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing technical aspects of Service Centre of Excellence (SCOE) projects, serving as the technical interface with partners and subcontractors, and managing technical inputs for tenders. Additionally, the role involves conducting technical feasibility assessments of business opportunities and concepts. Scope of activities and task to be performed are:
1. Technical Responsibility for SCOE Projects:
• Lead and manage the technical aspects of SCOE’s projects in the LEO sector.
• Ensure all technical requirements and objectives are met within project timelines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and partners to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
2. Technical Interface with Partners and Subcontractors:
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for partners and subcontractors.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure alignment on technical requirements and deliverables.
• Address and resolve, or escalate when needed, technical issues that arise during project execution.
3. Collecting Technical Inputs for Tenders:
• Gather and analyse technical data and inputs required for tender submissions.
• Collaborate with the business development team to ensure the implementation of accurate and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Review technical proposals to ensure feasibility and compliance with specifications.
4. Feasibility Assessments of Opportunities and Concepts:
• Conduct thorough technical evaluations of new opportunities and concepts in the LEO sector.
• Assess the feasibility, risks, and potential impact of proposed projects and technologies from a technical perspective.
• Provide technical recommendations and insights to support decision-making processes.
• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in system engineering, in the space industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of LEO systems and technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with partners and subcontractors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with satellite systems, space missions, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations in the space sector.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
