We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Software Engineer to develop and optimise software for our high-performance System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions. If you have a strong background in embedded systems, a passion for working with cutting-edge technology, and the ability to work independently, we would love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing application software for our high-performance System-on-Chip (SoC), ensuring efficient and reliable operation.

• Designing and customising a Linux-based Operating System (OS) to support the specific requirements of our SoC.

• Writing firmware for microcontrollers on the Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) to enable seamless hardware integration.

• Implementing a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) on an FPGA soft-core to enable real-time processing capabilities.

• Collaborating with high-level software developers to optimise and accelerate AI algorithms, ensuring high performance on embedded platforms.

What you’ll be bringing

• A Master’s degree in Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of Linux-based operating systems and Board Support Packages (BSPs).

• Experience working with communication protocols such as CAN, UART, I2C, SPI, PCIe, Ethernet (ETH), and USB.

• Strong documentation and reporting skills to ensure proper technical follow-up and knowledge sharing.

• Ability to follow up technical work with proper reporting and documentation.

• Nice to have: Experience with Yocto/BuildRoot and RTOSs

• Nice to have: Experience with Jetson devices

• Nice to have: Past work experience in aerospace industry
