We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Software Engineer to develop and optimise software for our high-performance System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions. If you have a strong background in embedded systems, a passion for working with cutting-edge technology, and the ability to work independently, we would love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing
Developing application software for our high-performance System-on-Chip (SoC), ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
Designing and customising a Linux-based Operating System (OS) to support the specific requirements of our SoC.
Writing firmware for microcontrollers on the Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) to enable seamless hardware integration.
Implementing a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) on an FPGA soft-core to enable real-time processing capabilities.
Collaborating with high-level software developers to optimise and accelerate AI algorithms, ensuring high performance on embedded platforms.
What you’ll be bringing
A Master’s degree in Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of Linux-based operating systems and Board Support Packages (BSPs).
Experience working with communication protocols such as CAN, UART, I2C, SPI, PCIe, Ethernet (ETH), and USB.
Strong documentation and reporting skills to ensure proper technical follow-up and knowledge sharing.
Ability to follow up technical work with proper reporting and documentation.
Nice to have: Experience with Yocto/BuildRoot and RTOSs
Nice to have: Experience with Jetson devices
Nice to have: Past work experience in aerospace industry
