Space surveillance and Tracking Engineer

Role

You will be part of the largest team of engineers in Europe dedicated to the Space Surveillance and Tracking topics, working along the most prestigious space agencies.

The main goal of the position is developing state-of-the-art algorithms in those fields for their application within the operational chain.

Responsibilities

Main functions are:

  • Development of new algorithms in the Space Surveillance and Space Mechanics domain area (collision risk assessment, initial orbit determination, cataloguing techniques, orbit determination, manoeuvre planning, attitude characterization ...)
  • Implementing those algorithms in SW modules (from prototyping to operational development, from design to acceptance)
  • Providing support to our costumers

Qualifications

We are looking for aerospace engineer (or equivalent) with background and interest in:

  • Space mechanics domain area 
  • Applied mathematics
  • Space debris
  • Space mechanics
  • Statistics
  • Object-oriented programming
