Sofware Engineer for Operational Simulators
Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineer trainee to join our team, where you will gain hands-on experience in space systems simulation and work alongside experienced engineers on a flagship ESA/NASA program. You will:
- Assist in the development of simulation models .
- Support integration and testing of ESA component in through High Level Architecture (HLA).
- Contribute to test automation, validation campaigns and deployment.
- Learn to work with HLA/RTI, containerized environments, and ESA-standard tools.
- Document code, test results, and participate in technical reviews.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
We are looking for BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field Students with background and interest in C/C++ and Linux.
We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:
- Model-based engineering (MagicDraw, Enterprise Architect, UMF).
- SIMULUS
- Git
- DevOps
- Groovy
- NS3/OPNET
