ABOUT THE ROLE: EARSC is seeking a  Project Officer  to support its mission of promoting the European Earth Observation Services Industry across multiple market sectors. Based in Brussels, the Project Officer will work closely with the Secretary-General and other team members on EARSC Secretariat activities and ESA/EC-funded projects.

As a production engineer you are responsible for the assembly and testing of satellite components. You assemble the mechanical, optical and electronic parts into a final product. During and after assembly you perform various tests on the product to guarantee quality, and report these tests in a report. You are also responsible for monitoring the supply chain, ordering necessary components and monitoring the quality of suppliers. You work together with a young and experienced team.

As Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and testing of the software on our attitude determination and control systems. You will implement control algorithms, set up data protocols and carry out software test procedures.

ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The candidate will be integrated in a team of engineers, network engineers and IT engineer, working on several project focused on engineering Ground Segments for satellite communication systems.
