Inter-institutional Stakeholder Relations Officer

Role

The EUSPA Office of the Executive Director team is placed directly under the Executive Director and assists him in ensuring an efficient and effective system of management of the Agency as well as effective corporate coordination and outreach, including relations with external stakeholders and institutional partners.

The place of employment for this post is Brussels (Belgium).

Responsibilities

  • Implement processes and activities necessary to ensure and enhance the level of the Agency’s interactions with its main institutional stakeholders, supporting the appropriate representation of the Agency as needed;
  • Implement processes to ensure the monitoring of and reporting on activities of the EU institutions and their work (e.g. legislative activities) as relevant to the mandate of the Agency;
  • Provide analysis and advice to the Agency’s top management on new and potential stakeholder relationship activities relevant to the mandate of the Agency;
  • Manage Agency processes to ensure efficient coordination within the Agency concerning interinstitutional stakeholder relations, including maintaining the Agency’s interinstitutional stakeholder relations plan;
  • Other activities as required by the Head of OED.

The place of employment is Brussels, Belgium. However, the jobholder will be required to undertake frequent missions to the Agency's headquarters in Prague, Czech Republic.

Qualifications

Professional experience and expertise

  1. Experience in tasks equivalent to those listed under section 2. Tasks and responsibilities;
  2. Experience of EU institutional stakeholder relations, including with national administrations;
  3. Knowledge of the EU legislation relevant to the mandate of the Agency;
  4. Experience in project management, including procurement, budget and contract management;
  5. Excellent command of both written and spoken English;
