The Positioning Navigation and Timing (PNT) Programme Management Department manages the programme activities for the EU PNT Programme Components (Galileo and EGNOS), and is accountable for the end-to-end exploitation of the EU PNT Programme components including budget, and schedule management. The PNT Department is responsible for ensuring the timely and secure implementation of new services through development and deployment of system infrastructures, and the implementation of the Galileo and EGNOS Contribution Agreements for programme-related tasks, and manages the interfaces with the European Commission and the European Space Agency for the management of the EGNOS and Galileo Components of the Programme.
The position requires permanent relocation to the Agency’s headquarters in the heart of Europe – Prague. Missions to the other Agency sites (GSC in Spain, GSMC in France and Spain), occasional travels to the EC in Brussels (Belgium) and other location (contractor premises) are foreseen for this post.
We are looking for a PNT System and Ground Segment Evolution Project Manager who will be responsible for managing and coordinating assigned System (ground control and mission segments) evolution activities for the Programme Components under the responsibility of the PNT Programmes Management Department, taking into account Programme priorities, approved service evolution needs and operational requirements.
