As part of our RF team, you will work on the development of innovative communication techniques for space-to-ground communications . Here's a breakdown of the tasks you could be involved in: Simulation : Contribute to the development of a software simulator to recreate a typical low-earth orbit satellite scenario. It will include simulation of propagation effects, RF front-ends, space and ground antennas and their effects on a transmitted RF signal. Software Defined Radio : develop software modules for signal demodulation such as PLL/DLL, time-synchronisation, Phase/Frequency compensation. Custom Signal Processing : Implement custom signal processing algorithms to analyze and enhance the signal received on-ground by several antennas, employing combination techniques and beamforming theory. A project to design passive nutation dumpers for spinning spacecraft. Spinning spacecrafts dominated early Earth satellite models because of their simple propulsion and simple thermal control. However, demand for operating high frequency antennas and optical instruments has reduced the number of new spinners to nearly zero. Expertise on AOCS of spinners is faidnig.  LUNAR CARGO P.C. wants to revive the technology for purely cargo spacecraft. We envisage designing cylndrical spacecraft that will be configured as spinners and will have stable axis to facilitate docking by carrier spacecraft, to effect docking and repositioning.
