Senior Key Account Manager, Space (m/f/d)
As our new Senior Key Account Manager, Space, you will drive business growth and strategic customer relationships within the European Space market with a particular focus on Germany. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key customer accounts, and leading complex sales cycles from initial engagement through contract closure.
This is a highly visible position with significant influence on business strategy, product direction, and long-term customer success. Working closely with executive leadership, Product Management, and Engineering teams, you will play a key role in expanding TTTECH's footprint in the rapidly evolving Space industry.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth of TTTECH's Space business in Germany by identifying new opportunities and building long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Manage and develop strategic key accounts, including opportunity management, revenue forecasting, customer development, and achievement of sales targets
- Act as the primary commercial contact for customers and negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms in line with customer requirements and TTTECH's business objectives
- Lead the entire sales cycle, from market analysis and business strategy development to value proposition creation, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and successful deal closure
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and the procurement, fiscal, political, and regulatory environment within the assigned region
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in the CRM system, ensure reliable forecasting and reporting, and provide regular market and customer feedback to management
- Collaborate closely with TTTECH's global Sales Team, Executive Management, Product Management, and Engineering teams, while organizing customer meetings, workshops, trainings, and presentations to strengthen customer engagement and business growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
- Strong background in aerospace electronics, embedded systems, spacecraft systems, or related technologies
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, key account management, program management, or business development within the aerospace, space, or high-tech industry
- Proven ability to understand customer requirements, identify business opportunities, and develop tailored solutions that create customer value
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in German and English (minimum C1 level)
- Ability to effectively collaborate across international and cross-functional teams within a matrix organization
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel up to 50%

We offer a transparent and competitive salary package based on objective, gender-neutral criteria such as qualifications, professional experience, and responsibilities in this role. The starting annual gross salary for this position is € 90,000. Actual compensation may be significantly higher depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant professional experience.
